Throughout the development of our microservices, we heavily leveraged dependency injection. As part of a .NET web application's startup process, you register the individual types that should be part of the inversion of control (IoC) container. For example, an interface for a telemetry client may be utilized throughout the codebase. The concrete implementation in the live-service sends actual telemetry data to a remote endpoint.
